The South Carolina Future Makers Education Summit will be held on Tuesday, November 29 at the Marriott Hotel in Columbia, South Carolina.

The purpose of this one-day conference is to provide educators and business leaders with a comprehensive overview of economic activities within our state and to provide training for classroom implementation of best practices for career readiness. The SC Future Makers initiative, powered by STEM Premier, is a first-in-the-nation workforce readiness program that links students, colleges, and businesses through digital connectivity.

The cost to attend is $95 per person and registration is now open. Sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities are also offered by clicking here.

Educators will receive a South Carolina Future Maker toolkit at the end of the conference that will provide resources and in-depth documentation related to the Future Makers initiative, career awareness examples for student discussions pertaining to the advanced manufacturing industry, an overview of incorporating STEM Premier in the Individual Graduation Plan, and how to strengthen soft skill behaviors from Microburst Learning’s EmployABILITY Program. Attendees will also receive an SC Future Makers certification that can be submitted to school districts for continuing education credits.
