The group’s North America operations are headquartered in Lexington, S.C., a suburb of Columbia, the state’s capital and largest city. There are 12 locations across North America, in South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Canada, Kansas, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Texas, and Mexico.
While consumers use Prysmian Group’s cable products and systems every day, they are undetectable and generally found powering major cities, airplanes, elevators, trains, naval ships, the internet, mobility towers, data centers, and subsea, linking countries across oceans. In North America alone, the company has worked on several notable projects, including installation of elevator cables for the new Freedom Tower at One World Trade Center in New York City, cabling for NASA, and the Hudson Transmission project.
