SC Military Community – Virtual Career Fair

Join us on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 for a virtual career fair with South Carolina employers who are looking to hire veterans, transitioning military personnel, and military spouses.
This virtual career fair will utilize a mobile platform called Ping by Tallo, a matchmaking system for job seekers and employers.
Space is limited for employers and participation will be reviewed for approval after a company representative completes the below form.

What To Expect
Job Seekers

Before The Event

Step 1:  Create a Ping account at mypingapp.com/register or through the job seeker button above. Make sure you select the SC Military – Virtual Career Fair.

Step 2: Ahead of the event, log in to your Ping Profile and answer 10 event-specific questions to start matching with employers; make sure to add a resume and optional videos.

Day Of The Event

Step 3:  Log in the morning of June 23rd to see all employers, broken down by your own unique “match score” to connect that day or post-event with the convenient use of your phone or desktop.

Step 4: Start connecting! During the event you can use the app to chat with any company. We help you start conversations and we’ll send you a text when a new company messages you for the first time.

Step 5: After the event, you’ll still be able to send your contact info, resume, and videos to companies, but all other live chat features will be closed.

Employers

Before The Event

Step 1:  Confirm your interest in participating by completing the above form.

Step 2: You will be emailed with an invitation to participate in the event if approved (Please note the space is limited for employers).

Step 3:  Ahead of the event date, log in to your Ping Profile and answer 10 event-specific questions to start the matching. You can add up to two videos to your profile to stand out with the candidates.

Day Of The Event

Step 4: Log in to mypingapp.com on your phone or desktop the morning of June 23rd to see all job seekers and their specific “match score” to your organization.

Step 5: Start connecting! During the event you can use the app to chat with any job seeker. We’ll notify you via email about new conversations, but it’s a good idea to keep the window open!

Step 6: After the event, you’ll still be able to send your contact info, website, and videos to participants, but all other live chat features will be closed.
