This hiring fair is a virtual and in-person event that will feature South Carolina employers who are looking to hire veterans, transitioning military personnel, military spouses, and their family members.

The more than 40 employers who are participating will be looking to fill more than 500 jobs currently available in South Carolina. Positions available include roles in Maintenance, IT, Law Enforcement, Financial Services, Logistics, Administrative Management, Healthcare, Construction, and more. “South Carolina is home to so many wonderful employers who have incredible career opportunities that are ideal for our great military community. I encourage anyone who is actively seeking employment or will be soon to participate in this hiring event,” said Will Grimsley, Secretary of the SC Department of Veterans Affairs.

The virtual hiring fair will utilize a mobile platform, Ping by Tallo, a matchmaking system for job seekers and employers. This platform will allow those who are transitioning out of the military, veterans, military spouses, and military family members looking for employment opportunities to input salary expectations, skills, interests, and other job preferences to match with job openings by prospective employers, view results prior to the event, and then connect with employers currently hiring.
